Story Poles

Below are pictures of some of our crew putting up story poles for a project in Monte Sereno. This is currently on Richard's drawing board and will be a completely new home from the ground up. For those not aware, story poles provide a rough silhouette of what the finished home will look like. This is a requirement of some cities, so that neighbors can get an idea of how their current view will be effected by a future home or remodel. See link below for more information on story poles and how they are used by Wikipedia.

San Jose - Hartford Ave. Project

Here is a looonnnngg over due update. We have some beautiful photos taken by the home owner of a project that we finished earlier this year. This was a basement conversion that included adding a bedroom, office space, laundry room, bathroom, and den (complete with a custom bookcase that has a hidden door.)

Saratoga - Paul Ave. Project 9-2-10

Here are some more pics from our job in Saratoga. Unfortunately, I have been a little slow on the updates so these are about a month old. Right now the stucco is going up and sheet rock will be soon to follow. We will try to have some newer pics up by the end of the week.
